Ticketless limited express tickets (Tokuwari) with a 35% discount for conventional train tickets are available for the spring Fukushima DC.

Posted on February 8, 2026 by Editor in Chief

JR East will offer a special rate for the “Akabeko-go” (JR Banetsu-Nishi Line, between Koriyama Station and Kitakata Station, all seats reserved), a temporary limited express train running in conjunction with the “Shiawase-no-Kaze Fukushima” destination campaign to be held throughout Fukushima Prefecture in spring from April 1 to June 30, with the Ekinetto product “Ticketless Limited Express Ticket for Conventional Lines”. The special rate for the “conventional line ticketless limited express ticket” will be set.

The period covers train rides from April 2 to June 30. The “Conventional Ticketless Express Ticket (Tokuwari),” which is available for a limited time, offers a 35% discount, and the “Conventional Ticketless Express Ticket (JRE POINT Privilege),” which can be exchanged with JRE POINT, offers a discount of nearly half the price.

For example, the fare between Koriyama and Bandai Atami/Inawashiro is usually 1,050 yen, but you can ride for 680 yen or exchange 500 pts. The fare between Koriyama and Bandai-cho/Aizu-wakamatsu/Kitakata is normally 1,480 yen, but you can get on the train for 960 yen or 800 pt in exchange.

The sales period is from 10:00 a.m. one month prior to the boarding date until the departure time of the train on the boarding date (the time indicated in the timetable).
