JR West will conduct the “Hokuriku-Kansai Ticketless Debut Support Campaign” from February 14 to March 31.
For those who have not used “Hokuriku/Kansai Ticketless” and “Hokuriku/Kansai Ticketless (Early Bird 7)” after April 2025, 10% of the amount spent on each product during the above period will be returned in WESTER points. In addition, an additional 10% to 30% will be returned separately by lottery.
The “Hokuriku-Kansai Ticketless” is a special ticket that includes a Hokuriku Shinkansen ticket and a limited express ticket for the “Thunderbird” and “Shirasagi” limited express trains. The Shinkansen portion can be used with an IC card, while the conventional train portion can be used without a ticket by displaying the ticket on a smartphone or other device (the conventional train portion requires separate payment of the fare with an IC card or other device). The “Hokuriku-Kansai Ticketless (Early Bird Special 7)” is also available at a reduced price if purchased at least 7 days prior to the date of use.
Entry through the website is required to participate in the campaign. The application has already started. Paper tickets issued and used are not eligible.
