Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, will launch a lodging promotion campaign, “Sendai Toku Tabi ,” on February 9.

The subsidy is 30% of the room charge per person per night (maximum 3,000 yen) at a total of 106 hotels and hot spring resorts in the central city, Akiu and Sakunami hot spring areas. The subsidy period is from check-in on February 9 to check-out on March 19. For example, a 12,000 yen per night plan can be used for 9,000 yen, and can be applied for up to three consecutive nights (maximum discount of 9,000 yen).

From 9:00 a.m. on February 4, reservations for accommodations using the “Sendai Toku Tabi” program will be accepted through methods specified by each facility (telephone, official website, OTA, etc.).

In addition, approximately 300 people selected in a drawing from among those who stay at the hotel using the campaign and respond to an online questionnaire will receive specialty products of Sendai City (worth 3,000 to 10,000 yen).
