NEXCO East Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line Management Office and the Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway have announced that with the ongoing renewal work at Umihotaru PA, the first floor large parking lot (up line) and the stairs and passageways in the facility will be restricted from January to April 2026.

The renovation work is planned to be carried out in phases through the spring of 2027, with different parts of the building being constructed at different times.

In the large parking lot on the first floor of the upper level, approximately 20 spaces will be unavailable until late January, and approximately 15 spaces will be unavailable after early February. When the parking lot is full, visitors will be directed to the large parking lot on the downhill side of the street.

In addition, the motorcycle parking lot will be relocated to the left of the entrance to the parking lot (subject to change depending on the progress of construction), and the bus stop will be relocated to the edge of the Kawasaki side.

In the facility, the down escalator connecting the 1st to 3rd floors will be closed all day. The staircases will be half their width. In addition, the stairs between the 3rd and 4th floors and the escalators and corridors between the 3rd and 5th floors will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays. During the closure, visitors are encouraged to use elevators or other stairways.
