A photo spot with a New Year’s kadomatsu & banner is now available!
At Tokyo Disneyland, kadomatsu and banners are set up at the entrance to the World Bazaar. The banners depict Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in kimono. The banner depicts Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in kimonos and features a festive red and white design.
The kadomatsu on the left and right sides of the tree are decorated with fans featuring Horace Horse-Collar, a character based on this year’s Chinese zodiac sign, the horse! The Horace Horse Collar is a jolly horse character with a large collar around his neck. He is paired with a cow named Clarabelle Cow, who made her debut in “Mickey’s Field Work” (1929) and has appeared in 11 films. The other kadomatsu features Donald Duck as a fan.
The “2026 New Year Lottery” is also being held for kids in the World Bazaar and around the parade route. The contents of the lottery are written to support new challenges and dreams, and are perfect for declaring your goals and aspirations for the year ahead. Cast members holding the boxes are sure to be spotted, so be sure to ask them if you see them!
