Snow Peak will open the experience complex “Snow Peak Grands Yoshinogari” (612-1 Magun, Oaza Tsuru, Kanzaki-cho, Kanzaki-shi, Saga Prefecture) on March 18. Camping Field & Villa will start accepting reservations for lodging on the same day, and will open on April 18.
The complex area will feature a Snow Peak store, a Mitsuse Chicken restaurant specializing in branded red chicken, and a Starbucks Coffee store. SAGA COLLECTIVE, a brand created through the collaboration of local industries in Saga, will have a permanent booth for the first time.
In addition, a “Library Connecting Field and History” by book director Masataka HABASHI has been established. Books can be checked out within the park, and visitors can read while feeling nature. The library will also display “Fudo Zukan,” an information card that provides information about the Yoshinogari Ruins and other sites.
In addition, as “Snow Peak Yoshinogari Camping Field & Villa,” free sites for camping in the North Exit and New West Exit areas, respectively, and lodging facilities based on the motif of Yayoi Period architecture will be developed.
The north entrance area will feature “Hi-no-Iori,” a pit dwelling-style structure. Equipped with six cabins with a capacity of four persons, it will recreate the Yayoi period and provide a space centered around fire.
In the new west exit area, there will be three “Kaze no Iori” cottages, which represent a watchtower. The cottages, each with a capacity of 7 persons, will be equipped with a private sauna, water bath, and private fire space, and a 2-meal plan that includes a BBQ set from the Mitsuse Chicken Restaurant for dinner.
