Osaka-Kansai Expo” recap with official data. The overall picture, including the percentage of cab gawkers/repeaters/full-year passes, is emerging.

Visitors’ Age and Residential Area The total number of visitors was 2.902 million (25.58 million), with an average of 158,000 (139,000) visitors per day. The highest number of visitors was 248,000 (223,000) on October 12, and the number of visitors exceeded 200,000 for 34 consecutive days since September 10. Figures in parentheses ( ) exclude visitors with AD cards for related parties. The age composition of ticket types was 57.2% adults (with Expo ID), 27.7% adults (without Expo ID), and 15.1% under 18 years old (middle-aged, children, and children under 3). Of these, a total of approximately 1.3 million people (5.1% of the cumulative total excluding AD IDs) visited the Expo as part of out-of-school learning programs, school excursions, and local government invitation programs. The domestic area of residence of visitors with Expo IDs was Kinki (66.6%), Kanto (16.5%), Chubu (8.8%), etc., with the largest number of visitors. By prefecture, 41.16% were from Osaka, 12.80% from Hyogo, 7.98% from Tokyo, 4.85% from Aichi, and 4.56% from Kyoto.

Admission Ticket Sales Results Finally Finalized Admission ticket sales results (finalized version), including figures from travel agencies, were also released. The total number of tickets sold was approximately 22.25 million, falling short of the target of 23 million, and it is estimated that there were approximately 1.95 million unused tickets (8.8%).
