Oedo Onsen Monogatari Doi Marin Hotel, 15% off Nishi-Izu stay with breathtaking sunset. Includes bath with a view & all-you-can-eat crab.

Rakuten Travel is holding “Rakuten Travel New Year Fair” until January 9, 2012, offering special deals on winter and spring travel reservations. In addition to a maximum 15% discount on eligible hotels and hot spring resorts when combined with a coupon, a coupon for up to 15,000 yen off can be applied to “Raku Pack,” which combines transportation and accommodations.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Doi Marin Hotel (2791-4 Doi, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), located in Nishi Izu, one of Japan’s most scenic spots for sunsets, is now offering a basic buffet plan with all-you-can-eat snow crab in its entirety for two meals per night. Prices start at 21,900 yen per person (for a superior Japanese-style room with an indoor bath overlooking the sea for two persons).

Located on the oceanfront facing Suruga Bay, guests can enjoy the oldest hot spring in Nishi Izu, Doi Hot Spring, in the “Ocean View Bath” on the second floor or in the stone-built open-air bath on the first floor. The most famous feature of the hotel is the beautiful sunset view over the sea of Nishi Izu. In addition to the observation bath, you can also enjoy the view from the lobby, footbath terrace, and sea-side guest rooms.

The all-you-can-drink buffet dinner (including alcohol) includes seasonal dishes for all ages, local delicacies unique to Shizuoka, and a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, as well as hot seafood and steaks served from a live kitchen. If you choose the upgrade plan, you can enjoy “all-you-can-eat whole snow crab” filled with crab miso and meat.
