NEXCO East Japan Tohoku Branch will start selling the “Tohoku Sightseeing Free Pass / Shiawase no Kaze Fukushima Set Plan” from January 9, 2026 as a fixed fare plan “Dorawari” exclusively for ETC vehicles. The period of use is from January 16 to June 30 (excluding some days such as three consecutive holidays).
This plan allows unlimited travel on expressways in the Tohoku region for four days (may be less than three days depending on exclusion dates), and is valid for a longer period than the regular “Tohoku Tourist Free Pass”. The “Fukushima-Miyagi Round Trip Course” for standard cars is priced at 6,000 yen for Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures, and the “6 Tohoku Prefectures Round Trip Course” for Yamagata, Akita, Iwate, and Aomori prefectures is priced at 8,500 yen.
To use the coupon, in addition to applying through the website, it is necessary to have already used the coupon attached to the application completion e-mail. The coupon can be used by entering the code given by the staff at the accommodation or tourist facilities in Fukushima Prefecture. If the coupon has not been used, the normal toll fee will be charged.
The facilities eligible for the coupons and the benefits of using the coupons will be released on January 9.
