New Era will release the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes, a professional baseball team that existed from 1949 to 2004, as a new collaboration with artist Taro Okamoto on January 8. It will be available at New Era stores nationwide (except New Era Shinjuku East) and at the official online store.
The Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes baseball team logo, featuring a raging bull, was created by Taro Okamoto in 1959. This collection features the team’s logo on the front, a design that evokes the energy unique to Taro Okamoto.
This time, in addition to the headwear line that has been developed up to now, a long-brim hat will be introduced for the first time in this collaboration. Based on the crown of New Era’s signature silhouette “59FIFTY,” the hat type with a longer brim has been adopted.
