Laforet Harajuku to sell grab bags, pop-up store featuring kimonos, etc. Open from New Year’s Day in 2026

LAFORET Harajuku will hold “LAFORET NEW YEAR -BBNEXDO is Coming to Town-” from December 29 to January 7, 2026.

For three days from New Year’s Day, the company will also offer “Lafure Fukubukuro,” a lineup that includes everything from standard items such as “limited edition fukubukuro” and “fukubukuro with a choice of contents” to airport fashion-themed fukubukuro limited to 2026, all of which are available only here. Some participating stores are accepting reservations in-store until December 31. Those who pre-order will receive a special “morning ticket” voucher that can be used at LAFORET GRAND BAZAR, which will be held from January 2 to 26.

From New Year’s Day to the 7th, as a “New Year’s SPECIAL,” about 45 stores will hold special events such as sales of special items such as limited edition products and set products, novelty gifts, and New Year’s limited price sales. In addition, on New Year’s Day and the 2nd, Yushima Tenjin Hakubai Daiko will perform at the entrance twice a day at 13:00 and 15:00. The “Toki-daiko” drums, which have been handed down since the Heian period (794-1192), will be played with great force.

The B0.5F Market for Love and Madness will host daily events from December 29 to January 31, 2026. There will be a number of artwork and costume exhibits, workshops, custom orders, portraits, and live performances.

In addition, the annual “Kimono in LAFORET” event will be held in the 2F CONTAINER again this year. Six brands of kimonos for daily wear, gorgeous furisode (long-sleeved kimono), and unique kimono accessories will be on display.
