JR Tokai and Nara Prefecture have produced the drama “Kimi to nara, Nara in Color” as a tourism promotion. 6 episodes will be shown from December 22 to January 1, 2026 on the official “Iza Iza Nara” YouTube channel and other media.

Based on a collaboration agreement signed between the two parties in 2024, the film was produced and released as a vertical short drama with an emphasis on appealing to young people. It focuses on accommodation facilities and the central and southern regions of the prefecture (Chunanwa), and features beautiful images of the Nara Hotel and Tenkawa Shrine.

In the film, Miho Saeki (played by Anri Okamoto) visits Nara on a paid vacation and falls in love at first sight with Naoya Yoshino (played by Jinsa Tsujioka), a Nara brush craftsman. The story depicts their interaction at famous places in Nara.
