JR Kyushu will sell “Kodomo Boken Ticket” for elementary school students only from December 24 to January 7, 2026 during the winter vacation period.
The ticket allows unlimited rides on JR Kyushu’s regular and rapid trains and JR Kyushu Bus route buses for 100 yen for one day, and if you buy a limited express ticket, you can also board JR Kyushu’s Shinkansen, D&S, and limited express trains. The ticket can be used for family trips home, New Year’s visits to shrines, and year-end and New Year’s excursions.
Super Mario x JR Kyushu -Let’s GO KYUSHU!” is also underway, which can be enjoyed by using this ticket.
The “Super Mario Station” features Super Mario character decorations at 22 stations in Kyushu, where you can enjoy taking pictures, and the “Coin Collection” is a digital stamp rally to collect coins at a total of 100 locations, including JR Kyushu stations, wrapped trains, and event sites. A campaign is also underway to reward visitors with original goods.
