Kinokuniya will release three new colors from its popular “Collective Cold Storage Bag” series on January 7 in colors limited to western Japan stores. Each is priced at 1,760 yen.
The lineup includes bright and refreshing yellow green and orange, chic and elegant navy and pink, and stylish gunmetal and silver. The bags, which combine a cooling function with compact portability, measure approximately 51 x 20 x 36 cm (W x D x H).
Although lightweight, it has more storage capacity than it looks, and the zipper on the top prevents contents from popping out, allowing bulk purchases and large food items to be carried with ease. A mesh pocket on the inside can be used to store refrigerant to keep food fresh even more effectively.
The back of the bag is also designed with illustrations featuring popular Kinokuniya products such as English bread, bean-paste buns, fruits, vegetables, and wine. The company says the bags are recommended not only for daily shopping, but also for leisure, outdoor activities, and as gifts.
