Tokyo Metro will hold the “Tokyo Metro Virtual Marathon: Run the distance of the Hanzomon Line! from January 29 to February 12.

Runners will use the “ASICS Runkeeper” running app (Android/iOS versions) to run 16.8 km, the same distance as the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (each runner will set his/her own course so that the distance run in one activity or measured once during the period, or the cumulative distance run multiple times will be 16.8 km or more). The event is a virtual run, so the time and location will be chosen by the runners. The virtual run allows runners to run at any time and any place. There is no entry fee, and participants must be 19 years of age or older. Entry period is from 12:00 p.m. on January 8 to 5:00 p.m. on January 25.

As prizes, Tokyo Metro original goods will be awarded to the first place winner of any route group registered at the time of entry (a total of nine winners for all nine routes). In addition, five winners will be selected in a drawing from among those who have achieved the distance to run the “Tokyo Marathon 2027”. Winners will be notified by e-mail at the time of entry in early to mid-March.
