Peko-chan’s Chocolate Kingdom” in Shinjuku. Sanrio collaboration goods, character grill, and all-you-can-stuff sweets!

Posted on February 2, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Fujiya will hold a Valentine’s Day event, “Peko-chan’s Chocolate Kingdom,” at the Shinjuku branch of Keio Department Store from January 23 to February 15.

At the venue, where panels of Princess Peko-chan and Prince Poko-chan in chocolate dresses will welcome visitors, there will be a mystery-solving project and all-you-can-stuff sweets, as well as Valentine’s Day merchandise for sale. In addition, a “Peko-chan x Sanrio Characters Collaboration POPUP Booth” will be set up for the first time, offering new retro-cute goods with newly-drawn designs, as well as a meet-and-greet with Hello Kitty and Peko-chan.

Collaboration goods include “Sanrio Characters Chocolate Trading Charms” (12 types at random, 858 yen each, limit 12 per person), which look like chocolate on a stick, and “Sanrio Characters x Peco Collaboration Gift Cans” (pink/blue, 880 yen each), which can be used even after you finish eating the sweets. 880 yen each.

Other items available for pre-sale at the event include “Peko-chan Retro Modern Eco Bag” (5 random types, 748 yen per bag, limit 5 per person) and “Peko Poko Chocolate Can” (990 yen), whose bright red design is very Valentine’s Day-like.

For the character meet-and-greet event, lottery tickets will be distributed on January 31, the day of the event. There will be three meet-and-greetings per day, with 20 pairs (two per pair) of winners drawn for each of the three events.

To commemorate “Peko-chan’s Chocolate Kingdom,” a novelty “original knit pouch (smile mark)” (not for sale) will be given to those who spend at least 3,000 yen including tax at the venue during the period.
