Nippon Travel Agency x Takarajimasya, “2-way Shoulder Bag” Pursuing Comfort for Travel. Lightweight, water repellent, and 11 pockets for storage

Posted on February 2, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Takarajimasya will release a brand mook, “2-way Shoulder Bag Book for Travel Comfort Conceived by Nippon Travel Agency,” on February 26. The price is 3,586 yen. It will be available at bookstores nationwide and on e-commerce sites.

Based on a survey of employees of Nippon Travel Agency, Japan’s oldest travel agency, this shoulder bag was planned and developed from the perspective of a travel professional. The bag is designed to be more functional and user-friendly than its predecessor, the first version, with 11 pockets with excellent storage capacity, a lightweight nylon design, and a water-repellent finish to protect against sudden changes in weather and dirt.

It is in a mini-boston shape that can be opened quickly and easily, and measures approximately 26 x 12 x 20 cm (W x D x H). The inside is colored blue, the corporate color of Nippon Travel Agency, to make it easy to find luggage. The zipper pull also comes with an airplane charm.

The booklet included in the package features “healing trips” recommended by the staff. It introduces attractive spots throughout Japan, including “destinations with beautiful starry skies,” where you can refresh your mind and body.
