Hyogo Prefecture is implementing a support program for tourists from the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo and 7 prefectures) as part of the “Agete Ikko, Winter Hyogo Campaign” to attract winter visitors to Hyogo Prefecture.
2,000 yen per person will be provided to those who book a travel product (“round-trip JR + lodging plan” or “airline + lodging plan”) through a participating travel agency or OTA. For a round-trip tour (a set of transportation, sightseeing spots, and accommodations), 3,000 yen per person will be provided. The application period is until January 31, and the tour period is until February 28.
The goal is to lower the “travel hurdle” for visitors from the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, and Yamanashi prefectures) to Hyogo Prefecture by using the Shinkansen and airplanes, and to promote a tour of the five Hyogo prefectures by increasing the time spent in the prefecture through its unique culture, nature, and cuisine. The goal is to promote tours of the five Hyogo prefectures.
