Tokyo DisneySea is holding “Duffy & Friends’ Heartfelt Letters of Friendship” through March 19. This time, we have actually purchased the food souvenirs, except for the special menu that went on sale on January 8, which we have photographed and will introduce to you.
Most noteworthy are the Souvenir Lunch Case (+1500 yen) and Souvenir Drink Bottle (+1400 yen), which can be purchased as a set with eligible menu items. The program is available at Zambini Brothers Ristorante, Cape Cod Cook-Off, Dockside Diner, and Miguel’s Eldorado Cantina.
The lunch case is designed with motifs of Duffy & Friends welcoming Mickey back from his long voyage and a letter written by Duffy. The drink bottles depict Duffy and his friends giving Mickey a present they prepared for him, from Mickey’s point of view.
The sweets are “Blueberry Milk Pudding & Cheese Mousse” with a nice lemon sauce accent and “Caramel and Chocolate Apple Crumble Cake” with toppings that express Duffy’s firmer texture. Priced individually at 550 yen each, they are available at the same four stores as the lunch case and drink bottles introduced earlier.
For the milk pudding, a souvenir cup (+850 yen) with a design of the moment when Duffy & Friends are expressing their overflowing feelings to Mickey, and for the apple crumble cake, a souvenir plate (+850 yen) depicting Mickey and Duffy’s reunion after returning from their voyage can be attached. The cake is also available with a Souvenir Plate (+850 yen).
The special drink is the Sparkling Drink (Orange & Lychee), which expresses the glamour of Duffy & Friends’ 20th anniversary with soap bubble-like toppings. It is priced at 700 yen and will be available at Cape Cod Cook-Off, Dockside Diner, and Miguel’s Eldorado Cantina.
In the middle is a clear lychee-flavored gelée and at the bottom is an orange sauce. You can enjoy the different textures and flavors, so be sure to mix and match as you drink. This item is also eligible for the Souvenir Drink Bottle mentioned at the beginning of this article.
