Don Quijote’s First Hybrid Store in Japan near Chiba Station. It has a “Kirakira Donki” shop with a full lineup of character goods.

Don Quijote will open a new store, Don Quijote Chiba Fujimi Store (EX Building 3-4F, 2-14-1 Fujimi, Chuo-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) on January 27.

This is the nation’s first hybrid store, with the conventional Don Quijote and Kira Kira Donki, which is being developed for the first time in Chiba Prefecture, separated by floor, so that customers can enjoy two Don Quijote stores at once.

The Chiba EX Building, the commercial facility where the new store will be located, is about a 6-minute walk from JR Chiba Station and about a 4-minute walk from Keisei Chiba-Chuo Station. Taking advantage of the characteristics of the building, where approximately 60% of the main users are single adults, many of whom are in their 20s and 30s, the decision was made to introduce “Kirakira Donki” on the 4th floor, which mainly targets Generation Z and young single adults.

Aimed at a wide range of customers, from students to working women, the store will have a color contact corner boasting an overwhelming variety of color contacts, as well as the largest selection of various character goods in the Chiba Station area. The store interior will be decorated with a combination of the key color purple and neon to create a cute adult space.

Meanwhile, Don Quijote, located on the third floor, offers a wide variety of protein products to meet the health-conscious needs of single adults, in addition to products that support daily life. The store will also feature a protein vending machine that allows customers to easily try out the products, making it one of the largest protein vending machines in the Chiba Station area. In addition, the store will be decorated with sky, greenery, cherry blossoms, and other elements that evoke Chiba’s rich natural environment, creating a “place to take a breather” that differs from the urban environment.

In addition, the store’s exclusive local logo, featuring Donpen and Donko, the popular red panda “Futa-kun” at Chiba City Zoological Park, will be adorable as they hold a special product, Po-nuts.
