Beef rice” ekiben at major Tokaido Shinkansen stations. (East of Nagoya: Matsusaka beef Kanto style, West of Kyoto: Omi beef Kansai style)

JR Tokai Retailing Plus will release “Matsusaka Beef Beef Meal” and “Omi Beef Beef Beef Meal” from its ekiben brand “Shurumado Shokudo” on January 20. They will be available at ekiben stores in major Tokaido Shinkansen stations, priced at 1,580 yen each.

Matsusaka beef” is sold at the Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, and Nagoya stations, and “Omi beef” at the Kyoto and Shin-Osaka stations. Not only the meat, but also the seasoning is divided between Kanto style with kombu dashi (kelp dashi) and Kansai style with burnt soy sauce.

To coincide with the launch, a 100 yen discount will be offered for the simultaneous purchase of the above products and Midori Gin Soda or The Peel (both 350 mL) until February 2. Also, by following the official “JR-PLUS Gourmet Club” account (@jrplus_gourmet) on X and posting the specified information using the button on the post, 10 people will be entered into a drawing to win 2,900 “Eravelle Pay” points. The drawing will be held until January 29.
