Akafuku will sell a limited quantity of Akafuku Nama Yokan, which focuses on the flavor of red bean paste, at the Mie Terrace antenna store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo (2-4-1 Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) from January 10 to 12.
Akafuku Nama-yokan was first sold at the 28th National Confectionary Exposition (Asahikawa Confectionary Expo 2025 in Hokkaido) held in the spring of 2025, followed by a limited sale at Mie Terrace in September, but is not currently sold at other stores or online. It is said that by using plenty of azuki beans and carefully adjusting the cooking, blending, and hardening methods, the original aroma and clear aftertaste of azuki beans are brought out, resulting in a soft, fresh texture and a gentle sweetness that is easy to pull away.
The price is 1400 yen for a 4-pack (2 red bean paste and 2 white bean paste) and 2800 yen for an 8-pack (4 red bean paste and 4 white bean paste). Each person may purchase up to two boxes, and each day will end as soon as they are gone.
