JR East Trading will release capsule toys “JR East Local Departure Bell Switch Collection” on January 16. The price is 500 yen per piece (random).
In cooperation with Toys Cabin, which produces the “Train Departure Bell Switch Collection,” a series of products that imitate actual train departure bell switches, this product is a commercialization of local train departure melodies, which have been discontinued in some areas. The product comes with a “departure bell” that can be attached to the main unit, as well as stickers with the name of the song and the name of the station.
The following five songs were recorded, taking into consideration the results of a questionnaire on the official TRAINIART line and the genre of the music. The announcements after the end of the melody are voiced by Eiji Tsuda, who used to be in charge of male voice automatic broadcasting.
