JR Tokai Food Service has announced the outline of the “Piyorin 15th Anniversary Year” commemorative project. To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the original “Piyorin” sweets on July 1, the plan will run throughout the year of 2026.
A Piyorin version of the “TOICA” transportation IC card from JR Tokai has appeared on the face of the card. The design features a TOICA chick holding hands with the cardholder.
In the summer, Kachigawa Station on the JR Chuo Line, where the Piyorin Atelier is located, will be decorated with Piyorin motifs, and in the fall, a Piyorin-themed “Sawayaka Walking” starting from Kachigawa Station is scheduled to be held.
In February, the first collaboration with “Kogumakun,” the mascot character of the Meitetsu Unyu Group, will be held. Kogumakun, a “logistics professional” who supports people’s lives around Nagoya, and Piyorin, a “Nagoya tourism envoy” who energizes Nagoya, will join forces in a dream collaboration (details to be announced later).
Around June, “Piyorin Village” will open in the central concourse of Nagoya Station. It will have an eat-in café where visitors can enjoy original sweets and drinks that can only be tasted here, as well as a space to sell original goods with over 100 items.
In addition, a crowdfunding project is planned to install a 7-meter-high “giant Piyorin balloon” in front of the main entrance of the commercial facility “NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS (tentative name),” which is scheduled to open around spring. Details will be announced in March.
