Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group will renovate Oedo Onsen Monogatari Nagasaki Hotel Seifu (523 Otori-cho, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture) into “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Nagasaki Hotel Seifu” and open on April 29. Reservations for the hotel will be accepted from today, January 20.
Located close to the center of Nagasaki City, which has been selected as one of the world’s top three nightscapes, the newly built “Premium Lounge,” where you can spend your free time during your stay, is designed to enhance the beautiful night view. The view can be enjoyed from every seat, and a complimentary beverage bar including draft beer and other alcoholic beverages is available.
All guest rooms have been redesigned into a modern Japanese-style space based on the theme of “Japanese colors”. Three designs are available: “Kasumi Senso” (calm), “Tsuchiyamabuki” (warm), and “Shinonome Aoto” (sophisticated). The hotel is located halfway up Mt. Inasa, so all guest rooms offer a panoramic view of the “10 million dollar night view of Nagasaki.
There are two large public baths, one on the top floor and the other on the third floor (men and women are allowed to use the baths in turn). In particular, the open-air bath on the top floor, which is more than 100 meters above sea level, offers a 270-degree panoramic view of the city and Nagasaki Bay. Free drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are also available in the newly built after-bath lounge.
For meals, guests can enjoy Oedo Onsen’s signature premium buffet in a restaurant with large windows overlooking the night view and the city. In addition to Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus using carefully selected ingredients and seasonal dishes, the lineup includes Nagasaki sunfish sashimi, freshly grilled Sasebo specialty lemon steak, Sara udon noodles, Turkish rice, and other local delicacies.
