We went to a funky American grocery store to buy a birthday present for my husband’s senior at “Be section vintage”, an American grocery store not far from Masatsugu. I saw an interesting sign on the way to Masatsugu, so I decided to stop by and check it out. There were many small items at reasonable prices, but there were also many vintage signs and other items that store owners would come here to buy. Why are old things so cute? It’s cute just to look at them, and the feel of them to the touch is kind of nostalgic, too. A new season of “Stranger Things,” a drama set in the 80’s, was just released on Netflix, and since I had just watched it, I was pulled into that world at once. It was a good shopping time because I found just the right birthday present and I really enjoyed looking around the store.
Experience more cold at the fantastic Otani Museum After settling down a little after shopping, we decided to take a short walk and visit the Otani Museum, which is famous for filming music videos and other activities. The Otani Museum is a place where Otani stone, the local specialty, was mined and its fantastic underground space can be seen. Since it is underground, it is a little colder than outside, and although it may be …… cold to go to an even colder place in the middle of winter, for some strange reason, this coldness is not unpleasant. Once inside, the pitch-darkness and fantastic lighting make it feel like you’ve wandered into a dungeon in an RPG world. Many dramas and music videos have been shot here, making it a famous spot. My husband and I enjoyed this fantastic atmosphere as much as we could, taking videos and playing with them.
