Universal Studios Japan will hold “Universal Cool Japan 2026,” an event bringing together Japanese entertainment brands, from January 30. The opening ceremony was held prior to the event, and the media was given a first look at all of the attractions that will be open for a limited time starting tomorrow.
The guest of honor at the ceremony was actor Meiku Hata. Meiku Hata, who had an advance experience of the “Detective Conan” mystery-solving real-life escape game, said, “The feeling of solving the riddles by myself and steadily progressing through the game is super realistic and immersive! I was mortified when I couldn’t solve some of the puzzles! I felt frustrated when I couldn’t solve the puzzles!” He added, with a hint of regret, “The entertainment brands from Japan have come together to create an experience that will stay in someone’s memory. I was also drawn into the event. I hope you will come and visit us.
