Uncle Sweet Lover Eats Strawberry-covered Afternoon Tea at the Tokyo Dome Hotel

Posted on February 1, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Strawberry Afternoon Tea Period: December 9, 2025 – March 31, 2026

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (L.O. 5:00 p.m., 2 hours)

Price: 6300 yen (per person, including tax and service charge)

Reservations: Official Website So, on the good day of January. I went to the Artist Cafe on the 43rd floor, the top floor of the Tokyo Dome Hotel. Although the collaboration of an “old man” and a “single person” clearly seemed out of place, I was used to it since this was the second time I had been there. Last time I wore a jacket, but this time I wore a worn down jacket for work (……). But aside from that, the view from the Artist Café is spectacular. The Tokyo Dome Hotel is rectangular in shape, and you can see north and south from the floor, but since it is 150 meters above the ground and there are no high-rise buildings around, you can see all of Tokyo. I am proud to say that I have been up to many skyscrapers and high-rise buildings in the course of my work, and this is definitely one of the best views I have ever had. Lunch and dinner are also available, so don’t be put off by the fact that afternoon tea is not available at ……. The Strawberry Afternoon Tea menu is available from 3:00 p.m., which is just in time for a snack. Although it was just after snack time, the combination of a three-tier stand and savory dishes that was brought to the table was quite a generous portion. The table was decorated with red-colored ingredients, including strawberries, which are the main theme of the fair, creating a gorgeous atmosphere reminiscent of spring. The contents are as follows. Savory: Foie Gras Brûlée with Strawberry Accent, Croissant Sandwich with Salmon and Shrimp, Strawberry and Mozzarella Cheese Mousse, 3-tier stand, top tier: Cold Cappellini with Strawberries and Caviar, Strawberry Popovers with Pistachio Fragrance – Today’s Macaron

Middle: Strawberry shortcake, strawberry Mont Blanc, strawberry and yuzu verrine

Bottom: Strawberry, chocolate-orange scone, strawberry scone, strawberry and cheese mousse parfait, today’s chocolate drink Hot: Strawberry cream (*), chocolate berry (*), chamomile blend, Darjeeling second flush, Assam, cafe latte, tea of the day

Ice cream: apple cider vinegar with soda, café au lait

Hot or iced: coffee, Earl Grey

The menu dedicated to the fair I noticed while taking pictures that there was no combination of chocolate, which is considered a standard item, but instead there were citrus and cheese combinations and savory items, so the menu did not focus only on the sweetness of the strawberries. This is something to look forward to. Incidentally, the type of strawberries used varies depending on the season, as well as the menu. However, only the individual strawberries set on the bottom of the three-tier stand are announced, and on this day, they were “Tochiaika” strawberries. On this day, they were “Tochiaika,” a rather new variety from Tochigi.
