Proteka’s Pocket Liner 2 Country Edition Inspired by XC Vehicles Limited edition color with front pocket.

Posted on February 1, 2026 by Editor in Chief

From the Japanese travel bag brand PROTECA, Ace has released the “Pocket Liner 2 Country Edition,” a suitcase with a color scheme reminiscent of cross-country vehicles.

It is available in two sizes: a carry-on size (37L) and a check-in size (94L), priced at 77,000 yen and 90,200 yen, respectively. They are available at directly managed stores, online stores, and major department stores and specialty stores nationwide.

This model was inspired by the “cross-country vehicles” that were popular in the 1990s. The bi-colored body and front pockets and accent color on the zipper express the strength and dynamism of the cross-country vehicles of the time. Two colors, “Desert Beige” and “Oasis Blue,” are available.

Like the base model “Pocket Liner 2,” it features a front pocket that can be opened and closed with the suitcase in an upright position. It is easy to take luggage in and out while on the move, and by opening the zipper inside the pocket, the main compartment of the main body can be accessed directly. The pocket is also equipped with a PC compartment and an open pocket.

In terms of features, in addition to the originally developed “Silent Caster” that reduces the volume of sound by about 30%, the “Bearon Wheel” with reduced frictional resistance is adopted for smooth running. In addition, the “Magic Stop,” a patented stopper function that allows the user to lock the wheels in place with a switch on the hand, and the ergonomically designed “ergonomic handle” for easy gripping are also included.

The products are manufactured at the Akahira Plant in Hokkaido, Japan, and come with a three-year unlimited free product warranty, Proteka Premium Care.
