On February 5, a new Pokemon-themed facility, “PokePark Kantou” (4015-1 Yanoguchi, Inagi City, Tokyo, in Yomiuri Land Amusement Park) will open. Prior to this, the interior of the facility was shown to the media for the first time.
Beyond the entrance plaza, Kayazuri Town spreads out after passing through a tunnel. This is a landmark area of Poképark Kantor where Trainers and Pokémon from around the world gather. The town includes the “Pokémon Trainer’s Market” with wagons selling goods and gourmet foods, the “Pokémon Center” where you can watch Pokémon recover with the recovery machine, the “Friendly Shop” that sells original drinks for trainers, and the “Kayatsu Rim” where shows featuring Pokémon Kayatsu Ridgem, where shows by Pokémon are held.
Visitors can also enjoy daily meet-and-greets with Pokémon at the “Pokémon Fureai House,” and the Asilene fountain at the entrance to the town is a great photo spot.
And there are two attractions in Kayatsuri Town: Pika Pika Paradise, a ride operated by more than 30 electric-type Pokémon, and Buoy Voyage, a merry-go-round that takes visitors on a trip around the world with Eevee and friends.
In addition, the “Pikabui Bubble Carnival,” a parade in which Pikachu and Eevee march through Kayazuri Town, will be held twice a day.
