On February 5, a new Pokemon-themed facility, “PokePark Kantou” (4015-1 Yanoguchi, Inagi City, Tokyo, in Yomiuri Land Amusement Park) will open. Prior to this, the interior of the facility was shown to the media for the first time.
The “Pokémon Trainers’ Market” in the central Kayatsuri Town sells a wide variety of goods and a menu of food and beverages. For example, at Pikachu’s Onigiriya, you can take out four kinds of onigiri (800 yen each), tonjiru soup with various ingredients (700 yen), bamboo charcoal fried chicken (750 yen), and soft drinks (400 yen each).
The rice ball flavors are all authentic Japanese recipes: Mentaiko & Cream Cheese in Dashi Soy Sauce, Oba Miso & Shabu Salmon, Kujo Negi & Beef Shigureni & Burdock Root, and Kombu & Tuna Mayonnaise. In addition, the set includes bamboo charcoal karaage & sweet & spicy ginger, perfect for recharging energy before an adventure.
