On February 5, a new Pokemon-themed facility, “PokePark Kantou” (4015-1 Yanoguchi, Inagi City, Tokyo, in Yomiuri Land Amusement Park) will open. Prior to this, the interior of the facility was shown to the media for the first time.
Dr. Sekkoku Laboratory, located in the entrance plaza of the Poke Park, is the gateway to the Pokémon Forest. Dr. Sekkoku, a native of Kayatsuri Town in the Kantou Region, spends his days studying and observing Pokémon living in the Pokémon Forest, sketching their behaviors and actions.
There is a table that recreates the familiar scene of choosing the first partner in the game, a recovery machine containing a monster ball with a screen that looks like an electrocardiogram, and a white board with information on Pokémon analysis, the placement of which may change depending on the research situation. Note that the indoor equipment can only be viewed from outside the ropes and cannot be touched or photographed with.
When you are ready to embark on your adventure, receive a “research notebook” containing sketches of Pokémon from the laboratory assistant.
