Shizuoka Prefecture’s Atami Tourism Bureau will hold the “Greedy Early Spring Atami Travel Campaign” from January 22 to March 20.
In cooperation with East Japan Railway Company (JR East), this program aims to attract more visitors to Atami from winter to early spring. 5,000 yen discount coupon per reservation can be applied when making a reservation for JR East View Dynamic Rail Pack (JR + accommodations). The coupon can be applied to 23 hotels in Atami City, allowing visitors to enjoy hot springs, gourmet food, sightseeing, and other attractions at a discount.
The application period is from January 22 to March 20 (minimum 1 person), and the departure period is from January 22 to March 20 on weekdays and holidays.
To use the coupon, go to the travel reservation site “Buyu Travel” and select “Izu/Hakone” > “Shizuoka Prefecture (Izu)” > “Atami/Ajiro” and enter the number of people, number of rooms and date of stay. Enter the boarding station and select “Atami” for the drop-off station. Select the accommodation, accommodation plan, and round-trip train. Apply the discount coupon on the confirmation screen and enter the coupon code (jrnetsSwgktf) to complete the process.
Atami is accessible from central Tokyo in less than 30 minutes by Shinkansen bullet train. The Atami Plum Garden, where you can see the earliest plum and cherry blossoms in Japan, is holding a “Plum Festival” until March 8.
