Amazon (Amazon Japan) is having a time sale on Seiwa’s POLAIRE SHOW7 fabric tire chains. Normally priced at 16,182 yen, at the time of writing, it is 7% off at 15,049 yen (for size S12).
An official Japanese import of the long-established French company Joubert, it uses high-strength fabrics with special stitching and has acquired the winter anti-slip device standard (EN16662-1) by the European Committee for Standardization and the official Austrian standard (ÖNORM).
It can be installed without the need for jacking up, and includes two cloth tire chains to be attached to the drive wheels, work gloves, and a storage bag.
The S12 size is mainly suitable for 13 to 15 inch minicars, etc. The S11 size, also for 13 to 15 inch cars, is normally priced at 14,364 yen, but is now 5% off at 13,645 yen. In addition, 16 sizes are available for various types of vehicles, including SUVs and minivans (some sizes are not included in the sale).
