Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami (8-3 Sakimi-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture), a seven-minute walk from Atami Station, is offering a basic buffet plan with two meals per night, priced from 20,000 yen per person for a superior Japanese-style room with a view of the ocean and from 18,800 yen for a standard Japanese-style room without a view.
The inn is popular for its ocean-view lobby and guest rooms, and for its large, open-air and semi-open-air baths built in a modern Japanese style. Accessible from Tokyo in about 50 minutes, the hotel is recommended as a base for sightseeing in Atami, including the Atami Plum Blossom Festival in early spring when cherry blossoms and plum trees are in full bloom, and for walking around town.
The buffet dinner includes a lineup of Izu seafood delicacies such as homemade fried horse mackerel and seared sushi with sea bream, roast beef served in a live kitchen, a limited winter menu, and a variety of desserts, as well as all-you-can-drink drinks.
