Odakyu Tama Center Station renews Sanrio character decorations. Colorful rainbows are the basic tone, and Pochakko and other characters newly appeared.

Odakyu Electric Railway will renew the Sanrio character decorations at Odakyu Tama Center Station on February 2. It is scheduled to be completed on February 14.

As the station is the closest to Sanrio Puroland (1-31 Ochiai, Tama City, Tokyo), the station is currently decorated with Hello Kitty and other characters. To commemorate Puroland’s 35th anniversary, the station has decided to renew the design.

The concept of the new decoration is “Dream Cute,” with a colorful design based on rainbow colors. It depicts Kitty and her friends with train-shaped passports going out to Puroland.

The signs will be color-coded by direction to improve visibility. The number of characters will be increased to 14, including new characters such as Bad Badatamaru and Pochakko.
