Venus Travel, a member of the SHK Line Group, has launched the “GOGO Spring Ticket,” a special plan for passengers aged 55 and over to enjoy the New Nihonkai Ferry service between Honshu and Hokkaido at a discount. The offer is valid from March 1 to April 20.
The cabin type is for private cabins of state or higher, and one example is the Maizuru/Tsuruga to Hokkaido route: 17,000 yen (State B), 18,000 yen (State A), 20,000 yen (State S), and 47,000 yen (Suite) per person, one-way. Passenger car plans start at 37,000 yen (State B) for one person plus one car each way. The ship is equipped with a restaurant, a large public bath, and an open-air bath, allowing passengers to enjoy a relaxing cruise. The newly built “Keyaki,” which debuts on November 14, 2025, is also available for the Maizuru route.
Reservations must be made by 5:00 p.m. seven days prior to departure on the Venus Travel official website. Hotel reservations (8,000 yen per person per night) near each port after arrival can be added as an option.
