JR Tokai’s 2-day unlimited-ride “Noritetsu Tabi Ticket” removes the limit on the number of times you can use the Shinkansen bullet train. Seventeen companies, including Oigawa Railway, are now eligible.

JR Tokai will renew the “JR Tokai & 16 Private Railways ☆ Tabi Ticket,” which has been on sale all year round, as the “JR Tokai & 17 Private Railways ☆ Tabi Ticket” from April 4, 2012. The price has been revised from 8620 yen for adults and 4040 yen for children to 9200 yen for adults and 4330 yen for children, and will go on sale on April 1.

The Noritetsu Tabi Ticket is a free ticket that allows unlimited rides on all JR Tokai conventional lines and adjacent private railways’ local and rapid trains for two consecutive days on limited days of the week. If you purchase a separate limited express ticket, you can also board limited express trains and the Tokaido Shinkansen “Hikari” and “Kodama” trains between Atami and Maibara.

In addition to the existing 16 private railways, the Oigawa Railway Oigawa Main Line (Kanaya to Kawane Onsen Sasamawatari) will be newly covered, and the Tokaido Shinkansen automatic ticket gate will be available for use when boarding the Tokaido Shinkansen between Atami and Maibara.

In addition, the limit of four Shinkansen rides has been eliminated. If a separately purchased limited express ticket is used in conjunction with the Shinkansen, passengers can take the Shinkansen as many times as they wish.

In addition to JR stations and major travel agencies within the free section, tickets will also be available through JR West’s online reservation service “e5489”. When reservations are made via “e5489,” the ticket must be picked up at a major station within the free section.

In addition, a limited-time digital stamp rally will be held on the TOKAI STATION POINT (tospo) application for those who visit stations on JR Tokai’s conventional lines and participating private railway lines. A limited number of novelties will be distributed at the private railway station spots, and a lottery will be held for those who visit multiple station spots.
