The Shibuya Police Department will be conducting traffic control measures around Shibuya Station from the nighttime of December 31 to the early morning of January 1, 2026.
The area between the Shibuya Station intersection (scramble crossing) and the Miyamasuzaka intersection (under JR guard) will be closed to vehicular traffic from around 8 p.m. on December 31 until the end of security, and checkpoints and traffic control will be implemented in a wide area of the Dogenzaka area west of Shibuya Station, depending on the situation.
Since congestion is expected in the area around Shibuya Station during the same period, we are asking for cooperation in making detours to the surrounding streets.
