The Japan Association for the International Exposition, 2025, held an extraordinary meeting of its Board of Directors on December 24, and reported on its official records-related productions.

The booklets will be published in the fall of 2026 (tentative) as an official record book and an official record photo book, as well as an official record video book. The booklets will be distributed to official participants, exhibitors, and public libraries. No mention has been made of general sales.

The official record book is an A4-size, full-color, approximately 600-page book available in Japanese and English. It consists of two parts: Part 1, which tells the value of the Expo and its impact in an easy-to-understand story, and Part 2, which provides an archive of various matters related to the Expo.

An official record photo book will also be published in full color, A4 size, with approximately 300 pages in both English and Japanese. It will consist of two parts: a daily highlights section and a contents section (facilities, events, etc.).

The official documentary video collection is approximately 90 minutes long on Blu-ray disc and includes both Japanese and English versions.

A video interview will be available on the official website and official YouTube channel around spring 2026; it will be 30 minutes long and will feature about 20 or so producers and official participants.

In addition, the Cabinet Secretariat and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism are producing VR movies of the exterior and interior of the venue, pavilions, and facilities, as well as 3D city models and point cloud data of the entire venue.

These contents and composition are based on the information in the meeting materials released on December 24, and are subject to change in the future.
