Posted on December 13, 2025 by Editor in Chief

Workman released four new items for 2025 from its “Heaterware” series of wearable kotatsu.

This thermal vest has a built-in electric heater that instantly warms up anytime, anywhere with the touch of a switch. The temperature can be adjusted in three levels according to the coldness using an optional battery, and can be heated up to 50 degrees Celsius, so you can stay warm without wearing layers of clothing. It has gained popularity not only for outdoor leisure activities during the season with large temperature differences, but also for “indoor personal heating” during housework or casual use in the office, and has sold over 600,000 items in total since its first appearance in fall/winter 2019.

When it was first released, it was designed for craftsmen and work, but for the new fall/winter 2025 season, in response to needs, it has been updated with a design that is casual and can be used in a wide range of situations, in addition to traditional functions such as water repellency, wind resistance, and heat retention.

WindCore Quad Heater Hooded Vest” (4,900 yen, M-3L, 4 colors), and “WindCore Heater Ladies Vest” (3,500 yen, M-LL, 3 colors), a vest for women with a silhouette that can be worn without concern for body shape and a fit around the stomach and waist that easily gets cold. (¥3,500, M-LL, three colors, available only at Colars and women’s stores).

Sales outlets include Workman and WORKMAN Pro, which sell work clothes; WORKMAN Plus, which also offers outdoor and sports wear; Workman Colors and #WorkmanGirls, which specialize in casual wear for the general public; and an online store.
