Posted on December 13, 2025 by Editor in Chief

The Marunouchi Police Department will enforce traffic regulations in and around Uchibori-dori Avenue in conjunction with the New Year’s General Sightseeing Ceremony at the Imperial Palace on January 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but the end time may vary depending on traffic conditions in the area.

Uchibori Dori will be restricted from the Otemori corner intersection to the Shukudabashi intersection. Eitai-dori (west of the Otemachi intersection), Gyoko-dori (west of the Sakashimon intersection), and Kajibashi-dori (west of the Babashimon intersection), which connect to Hibiya-dori, will also be restricted.

Users of the Palace Hotel Tokyo (1-1-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) can pass through from the Otemachi intersection. Tourist buses may also pass through from the Babashimon intersection when using the Kusu-ko parking lot.
