JR East Service Creation (J-Creation) and Orange Page will release new “Suica no Penguin Attendant Series Original Goods” on December 10. They will be available on the Tohoku, Joetsu, Yamagata, Akita, and Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains, the Azusa limited express train on the Chuo Line, the Hitachi limited express train on the Joban Line, and in green cars of regular trains in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Continuing from 2024, the two companies jointly developed this new version. The iconic illustration is a new version of the Suica penguin holding a basket used for in-train sales. The scarf worn by the Suica penguins has also been redesigned from the pink of the first version to blue.
This second volume of the series is designed with travel in mind, and features four items: a luggage tag that can be attached to a suitcase or travel bag, three sizes of drawstring to hold travel items, a notebook useful for recording travel memories, and a mascot that can go out with you. The design based on the colors of the scarf is also a highlight of the collection.
