Nishi-Nippon Railroad will operate all-night service on the Tenjin-Omuta and Dazaifu lines through New Year’s Day, 2026.
Starting after the last train on December 31, which is a Sunday and national holiday schedule, express or local trains will operate approximately every 30 minutes between Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station and Dazaifu Station, and approximately every 60 to 110 minutes between Dazaifu Station and Nishitetsu Kurume, Nishitetsu Yanagawa and Omuta Stations.
From January 1 to 3, the express train “Hatsumode-go” will run between Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station and Dazaifu Station, with 15 trains going down and 14 trains going up. Some trains will be equipped with a head mark featuring “Otomo no Tabbit,” the official character of Dazaifu City.
