Mampei Hotel (925 Karuizawa, Karuizawa-cho, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture) is selling a limited number of “Mampei Christmas Handkerchiefs” as the third collaboration with the German Chenille weaving brand FEILER. The price is 5300 yen.
Following the “Mampei Lily Handkerchief” and “Mampei Sweets Handkerchief,” the hotel has introduced a special design for the Christmas period, based on the illustration on the Christmas card sent to guests during the major renovation and reconstruction work in 2024, which depicts the Alps Pavilion covered in snow and Santa Claus’ visit. The design depicts a scene unique to the hotel in winter, incorporating a snow-covered Alps Pavilion and the visit of Santa Claus.
The handkerchief also features a simple and sophisticated use of color, paying homage to the illustrations that have been used since the company’s founding and incorporating the characteristic “expression using a small number of colors. The handkerchief itself uses gold and silver threads to create a festive and high quality Christmas feel.
The product will be sold at the Mampei Hotel Alps Building 1st floor “Shop” (8:00 – 20:00) and at the official online store of Mampei Hotel. Sales will run from December 3 to 25, and will end as soon as they are gone. It will not be sold at Feiler’s stores and official online store.
