Limited “Year of the Noon” Lucky Charms for 3 Starbucks stores in Kyoto, Japan, to go on sale December 13. You’ll have to wait and see which one you win!

Posted on December 13, 2025 by Editor in Chief

Starbucks Coffee Japan will release a zodiac item, “Hinoeuma Charm Heigo Year-old Oriental Zodiac Sign Clay Bell” at three stores in Kyoto Prefecture on December 13. The price is 2,700 yen.

The JIMOTOMade “Lucky Charms” have been available in limited quantities and for a limited time since 2022, in a zodiac sign version. This year’s charm features a white horse born in the year of Hinoe-uma (丙午), which symbolizes passion and vitality, and is accented with a gold mane and wears a “Starbucks green” saddle. The white horse is accented with a gold mane and wears a “Starbucks green” saddle.

The lineup consists of a total of four types, including three standard charms based on lucky charms (crawler, Koma-inu earthenware bell, and beckoning cat earthenware bell) and the “Lucky Charm: Year of the Dragon Zodiac Year C-go,” which is limited to 2026. Inspired by the custom of “fukudama” (lucky charms) in Gion-cho, Kyoto, the charms are randomly enclosed in red and white fukudama capsules, so it will be a fun game to see which one you will win, just like a lucky charm.

The “Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Gion Hotel Store,” “Keihan Gion Shijo Station Store,” and “Kyoto Niningsaka Yasaka Teahouse Store” will be handling the product, which will be on sale until February 3, 2026, and each customer can purchase up to one “Lucky Charms Heigo Year Zodiac Clay Bell” per store until it is sold out.
