Keio Electric Railway will operate all-night service between Shinjuku and Takaoyamaguchi stations through New Year’s Day, 2026.
Starting after the last train on December 31, a Saturday and holiday timetable, trains will run at intervals of approximately 60 minutes, with four “Keio Liner Geishun-go” down trains with reserved seats available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (only a boarding ticket is required to go beyond Fuchu Station).
Seat reservation tickets for the “Keio Liner Geishun-go” will be available at Keio Ticketless Service from December 25 for the No. 73 train departing from Shinjuku Station at 4:00 a.m., and from December 24 for all other trains. If available, tickets for No. 73 will be available from 3:10 a.m. on January 1, and tickets for all other trains will be available at ticket vending machines from the first departure on December 31.
In addition, the cable cars and lifts of the Takaotozan Railway will also expand their operating hours. The cable car will stop at 5:30 p.m. on December 31, and will operate from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following day. The lifts will operate from 5:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Keio Bus will also operate a special Hatsumode bus service from 23:00 to 1:00 from Tsutsujigaoka Station and Chofu Station to Jindaiji Temple (5-15-1 Jindaiji Motomachi, Chofu City, Tokyo).
