JR Tokai is offering the “JR Tokai Winter Unlimited Ride Ticket,” which allows unlimited rides on all conventional train lines (12 lines) for two days, until January 12, 2026. The period of use is from tomorrow, December 13 to January 13, 2026, including the year-end and New Year holidays.
The discount free ticket that went on sale in summer will be on sale in winter as well. The price is 3900 yen for adults and 1900 yen for children, and is available only to those who have purchased a Tokaido Shinkansen ticket for the Atami – Maibara route via EX Service. Tickets are available at the “e5489” link on JR West’s online reservation system, which appears after logging in to the EX Service.
In addition to unlimited rides in non-reserved ordinary car seats of ordinary trains (including rapid trains) on conventional lines, reserved seats of ordinary cars, green cars, and home liners are also available with the purchase of a reserved seat ticket. Limited express trains are not available.
