Rakuten Travel is holding “Rakuten Travel Super SALE” until December 20, 2012, offering great deals on winter and spring travel reservations. In addition to selling many sale plans for hotels and hot spring resorts nationwide, up to 23% off coupons can be applied to hotels affiliated with theme parks.
Hotel Keihan Universal Tower (6-2-45 Shimaya, Konohana-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), an official USJ hotel, is offering a 51% discount on one night plan with breakfast. The price per person for a standard room for two persons starts from 10,500 yen.
Located a short walk from JR Universal City Station and USJ, the hotel also features free lockers for guests to leave their luggage before check-in/after check-out. 641 guest rooms on 32 floors are decorated in the theme of first-class rooms on a luxury cruise ship and the sea, and are recommended for families and groups.
While the overnight stay with no meal plan is also available at a 60% discount, the plan with breakfast includes a Japanese/Western buffet at “THE GARDEN” restaurant on the 3rd floor. The lineup includes Osaka specialties, pancakes you can bake yourself, and dashi chazuke (Japanese soup with broth).
The hotel also has a natural hot spring “Spark” on the 31st floor (fee required). Equipped with a vibratory bath and sauna, it is a popular place to relieve fatigue after playing in the park or on the morning of departure.
