New Balance Japan will reopen its Japanese flagship store “New Balance Harajuku” on December 5 at 11:00.
Ten years after opening in November 2016, the store underwent a major renovation and will make a new start as the flagship store of only three stores worldwide, including Boston, USA and London, UK.
The first floor will feature a stage for sports and cultural events, as well as “The Ohtani Signature Collection,” a signature collection of Shohei Ohtani, the company’s contracted athlete. In addition to the products, there will be an “Otani Shop” where visitors can learn about the background of the signature logo design, and items signed by Otani will be on display.
The second floor is a performance category area for running, training, football, skateboarding, etc. The third floor features shoes and apparel from the lifestyle category. The fourth floor features Made in USA footwear and apparel, Made in UK footwear, and a showcase of 1300, 991, and 576 footwear and parts to provide a glimpse into the company’s manufacturing and history.
